This resource for families of people in a prolonged disorder of consciousness was created by Professor Jenny Kitzinger and Professor Celia Kitzinger from over 65 interviews with families. It has won an award from the British Medical Association for the way it deals with ethical issues. It was also presented with the ESRC award for Impact on Society. It meets the Information Standard – for high quality health information.
